Boo! It’s Chautauqua Ghosts

In the fall, I updated one of the sites my husband and I have… Chautauqua Ghosts. A site that features local history and ghost stories in the area. It’s full of local folklore…

Around Halloween I finished it… Not sure why I forgot to share it here. The site allows visitors to share their stories with everyone and comment on items.

Navigation got re-vamped to allow for finding stories in a flash.

Original Arts Boutique Web Design

Imagine in Bemus Point is getting all ready for their Spring Re-opening. We’ve been working behind the scenes on marketing with Myriam Mayshark, the owner. Her site was updated from a Joomla site to a WordPress Site. And I’m so proud of Myriam… since Friday she’s been posting away!

The site is more interactive and automatically updates new posts to her social media platforms. She’s going to be all set for the Summer Busy Season!

You can now search for all of the classes she’s done in the past and stay up dated on the new classes being offered this spring. We used paypal to add a new gift certificate button on the site.

She can now add estate jewelry and antiques she gets in to her gallery on her own.

A new design for Veils by Roxanne

Web Design for a wedding vendor

Veils by Roxanne let us update her site to a WordPress site. What a difference! Roxanne, the owner, can now update all her latest veil designs. We also added a Congratulations section where she can give her best wishes to the newly wed brides. I also put in a testimonial section under the slide show… She has tons of testimonials which is not a surprise when you view her Design Gallery.

The site lets her be more interactive with her brides. She can keep her site up to date and fresh all on her own.

Custom web design

This fall I started on a new website for Stephen Robert Crosby, a composer, lecturer and consultant. He was very specific that he didn’t want a content management system but a custom design. My other guidelines were a black background and white text with red and gold worked used as accent colors. The site was to be a crisp and clean design. It’s always a challenge working with a black background and have the text to be legible. I worked long trying to get the right size for the typography.

A Networking Gift

This fall my networking group got a committee together to start thinking about going on-line and bring our face to face networking to the digital world. At first, I donated some time to help us with a branding package. As our meetings progressed, they requested that I help with the actual site. I was lucky enough to get an invite, a handful years ago, to go to the first meeting. Since then many of the member have used my services and I’ve made some great friends out of the group. I decided to donate my time to help us all network more and increase our group’s brand. A WIN-WIN for everyone. {Seriously, didn’t even notice the WIN connection until proofreading} The group has helped grow my business in leaps and bounds it was pleasure to be able to give back to such a great group of ladies.

WIN Women in Networking

Our homepage {above}, features a member on every refresh of the page and our latest news. I also have a consolidated feed of any member who has an rss feed  under the member news. The SBDC at Jamestown Community College and Key Bank are the sponsor of our networking group since the start and they are featured throughout the site. The site is designed in wordpress so we can easily update the site and have admins to monitor and share are referrals and recommendations.
