Every Friday morning, I spend an hour and a half starting at 7:00 am at St Susan Center for a networking group. In doing so I’ve gotten to know the director, Sue Colwell and her employees at the center. They feed our needy a nutritional meal in the city of Jamestown. We donate our design time to the center to help them out. We’re almost ready to launch a new website. . . but today I thought I would share some new business cards we designed and some promotional magnets.
Last week we finished up a project for Haggmark Tax Service. The business is moving on up to a new office (just heard the Jefferson’s Theme Song in my head.) The business already had a website designed so I pulled some of the colors in the site for the new branding look. I got to use some fabric background- YEAH- Love to weave some texture into pieces for depth.

I did a quick design for business cards for a couple of the gentlemen at Media One. This was a first for me… Ron Smith liked the cards so much he wanted me to put my info on the back of his card so everyone knew I designed the cards. Sweet offer but my job is to have you get all the business from your own cards.
At any rate they were printing their cards in house. I did a little math when I was at the local box store. Linen 200 cards is 14.08…
Now 1000 cards would cost you 70.40 plus you have to add in the toner plus the time it takes you to do it… My cards will definitely save you money in the long run. Plus in the end you will have a card that has that feel in your client’s hands that says ohhh these people mean business! If you need a design the cost will be slightly higher on the front end but you will thank me in 6 months would you need to re-order.
Let your customers know your office has moved with custom postcards. Recently, our client Dan Barry Land Surveyor moved to a new location. We were happy to help him out with new postcards and business cards along with updates to his website. Make sure all your marketing materials are ready with the new move along with all your moving boxes.

What a project it turned out to be! Since October I have been very busy with a new client’s product launch. I had to wait for the actual launch to share any information because it was top secret but I was given the OK this week to share the final pieces on my portfolio.
A little bit of history…I received a call from a doctor, Peter Levinson MD, MBA, from Erie Pennsylvania who wanted me to design a website. In itself there is nothing too strange about the request but along with that he wanted me to help create a look for a program they were developing called OB Counselor. The web based program will automatically text patients updates via text message. Hmmmm…it was too interesting to pass up. The program itself was created by programmers in New York and Ohio. I only provided the look and feel for the actual program.
First Objective Logo... I never thought I would have to draw so many fetuses!
Next Step: Business Cards. These don't show the final piece. The logo on the vertical has metallic foil feature to make the cards pop.

A Postcard Mailer to all the attendees. We also used this to come up with a trade show black and white ad.
Take a minute and peak at the website. It was done in wordpress so the client could make updates as he needed.
